Clients planning charity events often tell us that one of their biggest fears is a dull or cheap looking event. Not only do they feel this will reflect badly on the charity, but also on their own judgement – despite the obvious limitations caused by the usual budgetary constraints.
At Bubble, we believe that every event can, and should, be inspiring and engaging for guests from start to finish. We offer a myriad of imaginative menus and creative styling/production elements which make for luxurious and dazzling charity events at a cost-effective price-point.
Creating ground-breaking charity events pays off with great return on investment. Guests often share their incredible experiences of Bubble events with others – particularly through social media – resulting in the elevation of the charity’s brand position and a greater reach for their chosen message(s).
Below we have outlined a few of our most-talked-about examples which show that Bubble’s charity events are anything but boring:
Roald Dhal themed gala dinner
Save The Children’s Winter Gala Fundraising Dinner held at Guildhall, London featured Fantastic Mr Fox styled staff, a ‘Marvellous Medicine’ cocktail bar and a ‘Danny Champion of the World’ old fashioned garage styled food station. Dinner included Terrific Tinned Fish and a ‘Giant Peach’ dessert topped with a puffed wild rice ‘silk worm’ surrounded by delicate almond milk clouds. “Your creativity, professionalism and amazing food received brilliant feedback from our guests. You were a pleasure to work with and you really helped bring the Roald Dahl theme to life.” Eloise Smith, Save The Children
The Lush Awards
Held at LSO St Luke’s, the Lush Awards was a vegan and gluten-free reception and dinner. We incorporated the science theme by using laboratory equipment on the bar, featuring molecular gastronomy elements and staff styled in lab coats. The menu included Salt baked & pickled vegetables, beetroot & celeriac sphere, maple syrup mustard, served with a herbs & spices filled party popper for the guests (laboratory glasses supplied for effect!) to dress the plate. “What an absolute pleasure it was to work with you – your team are like a well oiled machine, and the food and presentation was spectacular!” Louisa Goldman, In-Sync Events
The Social Enterprise Awards
Bubble embarked upon a close collaboration for the Social Enterprise Awards, at the Grand Connaught Rooms. Led by renowned chef, Simon Boyle, the social enterprise restaurant Brigade offers apprenticeships and employment to those affected by, or at risk of, homelessness. Our Executive Head Chef, Jens Nisson, developed the menu in partnership with Brigade, whilst Bubble managed the event and led the incredible kitchen team, including Brigade apprentices. “We’ve had nothing but very positive comments about the food and service last night, the quality and theatre of the menu was exceptional. From our perspective you were all a joy to work with.” Matt Wilson, Fuse
