His leadership is at the core of the company’s dynamic, forward-thinking, and ethos. Outside of work, Michael enjoys renovating and developing properties, indulging in art, staying active in the gym, and exploring his passion for poetry.

Director & Executive Head Chef

Jens leads Bubble’s culinary team, crafting extraordinary food and beverage experiences to delight the senses. With over 30 years of expertise, Jens has honed in on his skills on outstanding events and in the kitchens of Michelin-starred chefs like Marco Pierre White and Philip Howard. His innovative approach to cooking, combined with a commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients, sets Bubble’s cuisine apart. Jens is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in the kitchen, ensuring a top-notch experience for all. Outside of work, he relishes researching new culinary trends and exploring dishes and drinks from around the world.

Tim Smart

Head of Finance

Tim is instrumental in overseeing Bubble’s financial and operational functions for over 10 years, driving efficiency across finance, human resources, and information technology. With a postgraduate degree in management and a background in the public sector, Tim plays a key role in implementing and managing the company’s systems and processes. His leadership ensures smooth operations behind the scenes. Outside of work, Tim enjoys outdoor activities and is heavily involved in supporting charity work.

Richard Cubbin

Head of Creative & Operations

Richard leads the delivery of Bubble’s creative and exciting events, with over 30 years of experience in managing high-profile events at prestigious venues. Previously Richard spent over 25 years as Executive Chef delivering major luxury events worldwide. His expertise in operations and culinary arts ensures every event is executed flawlessly. His attention to detail upholds Bubble’s reputation for excellence, ensuring seamless coordination at every event. When not overseeing events, Richard enjoys traveling with his family and discovering new places to inspire future creative projects.

Sonia Bagga

Head of Sales & Business Development

Sonia leads Bubble’s sales and business development with over 15 years of experience in luxury events and hospitality. Her expertise in proactive sales strategies, combined with her outgoing personality, helps her deeply understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions. Sonia is passionate about building a high-performing team while also spearheading the business development initiatives that drive growth and innovation within the company. When not working, Sonia enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures, always seeking inspiration for new event ideas.

Kathryn brings over 12 years of experience from London’s leading luxury event caterers, specialising in creating memorable events in heritage venues. With expertise in high-profile events attended by royalty, Kathryn is known for her ability to navigate the restrictions of heritage sites while delivering exceptional experiences for clients. In her personal time, Kathryn loves cycling, socialising and exploring new destinations.

Charlotte Hiscox

Senior Sales Manager & Head of Venue Relationship

With 14 years of experience in sales and operations at London Unique Venues, Lottie plays a pivotal role in managing client relationships and venue partnerships for Bubble. She has a deep understanding of working at Historic Royal Palaces and heritage venues and implements strategic approaches to strengthen these collaborations. Lottie’s passion for the industry shines through in her proactive and bespoke venue strategies. Outside of work, she enjoys attending live events and social gatherings, drawing inspiration for her next big event.

Mike Robinson

Senior Event Sales Manager

With over 17 years at Bubble, Mike is the sales team’s most experienced manager, bringing a deep understanding of the events industry from his background in running high-end restaurants in London. His extensive knowledge spans the full range of events, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service. In addition to his sales expertise, Mike oversees tastings, contributing his creative flair to the culinary side of Bubble’s success. Outside of work, Mike plays squash and enjoys discovering new dining experiences and staying connected to London’s vibrant food scene.

Lucy Scarlett

Senior Event Sales Manager

Lucy has worked in luxury events both in the UK and internationally since 2017, bringing a wealth of experience from Historic Royal Palaces, iconic historic venues, and major museums and galleries. Specialising in managing high-profile events for prestigious clients and brands, Lucy also has significant expertise in the Asian market. Since joining Bubble in 2021, her creative flair, exceptional organisational skills, and extensive industry knowledge have allowed her to produce unforgettable experiences for her clients. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys exploring different cultures, traveling and finding inspiration for her next luxury event.

Event Sales Planner & Wedding Specialist

Deputy Head of Operations

Steven has worked in events since 2010, bringing his expertise from Cape Town to London’s historic venues. With seven years of experience at Historic Royal Palaces, Steven’s knowledge spans over 30 prestigious locations. He holds several qualifications, including WSET Level 2 in Wine Education and Level 2 in Food Hygiene, making him a vital part of the operations team. In his spare time, Steven enjoys exploring London’s culinary scene and discovering hidden gems in the city’s historic sites.

Vivienne Quaile

Senior Operations Manager

With over 10 years of operations management experience, Vivienne excels at driving efficiency and delivering outstanding results. Known for her innovative problem-solving and team mentorship, Vivienne is dedicated to optimising processes and ensuring excellence. In her free time, she enjoys DIY projects, weightlifting, skiing, and wakeboarding, always balancing her active lifestyle with a love for exploring new destinations. Tatjana Berthelsen

Office and Staffing Manager

Tatjana Berthelsen has been in hospitality for 28 years, gaining vast experience across venues, private homes, and restaurant openings. Since joining Bubble in April 2023, she manages day-to-day office operations and oversees the recruitment and onboarding of front-of-house staff. When not working, Tatjana enjoys chasing the perfect Sunday roast, hanging out with her cat and gardening.
