With National Champagne Week currently taking place, we turn our minds to the many upcoming Christmas celebrations our clients will be enjoying over the next few months. Clients often share their concerns about their guests becoming bored with the same old menus – that can make the festive season feel like an endurance test!
At Bubble we can, of course, provide roast turkey with all the trimmings, but if – like us – you would prefer to ‘shake things up’ a little this year, you may be interested in some of the more unusual festive canapes we can offer:
Nostalgic canapes include our Mushroom vol-au-vents, chestnuts, truffle foam served with headphones playing Wham’s ‘Last Christmas’, Cranberry discs, gorgonzola, onion jam, micro salad, Honey roast ham lollipops, clove scented pork popcorn and Christmas dinner mini pints – Turkey liquor, potato foam, roast potato crisp, sprout puree. Grown-up party treats such as Rabbit, carrot disc, micro tarragon, Smoked trout, crème fraiche, rye bread, bergamot vaporiser or Pumpkin and sage tortellini, brown butter (served with individual spice party poppers) will certainly get your guests talking.
Indulgent sweet canapes are a great way to play with tradition and we have something for every taste: Mini marzipan ice creams with Christmas cake dust, Mulled wine gummi bears with brandy spritz, Individual crackers filled with Christmas cake bonbons, Eggnog macaroons with Advocaat shot and Flaming Christmas pudding cake pops. Of course, they are all beautifully accompanied by our Wicked Classic (pictured) – Cognac, Angostura Bitters, golden sugar cube topped with Champagne and garnished with candied orange peel and gold sugar rim.
