Event planners searching for a uniquely artistic venue this Summer should look no further than Central Saint Martins. Located in London’s newest creative quarter, Kings Cross, the famous art, design and performance college offers a number of diverse event spaces.
Perfectly suited for corporate Summer events and drinks receptions, clients are invited to soak up the sun on Central Saint Martins’ incredible roof terrace. Boasting a remarkable 1000sqm, making it one of London’s largest roof terraces, the space can accommodate up to 600 guests. The terrace provides breath-taking views of London’s skyline and is easily accessible from both the main entrance and theatre complex. Adding a suitably idiosyncratic element, the Futuro House is a 1960’s Finnish style ski lodge which can act as the focal point for events or be utilised as a VIP reception area.
The Lethaby Gallery was established in 1896 in the College’s Southampton Row campus, and moved to the current site in 2011. Named after the first principal of the Central School of Art and Design, William Lethaby, the Gallery is a highly flexible 300sqm event space suitable for receptions, conferences and Summer networking events. The space has a stylish industrial feel, complete with a polished concrete floor and flexible lighting system. Having hosted many high profile events and exhibitions, the Gallery has its own dedicated entrance and can be booked for daytime and evening events.
Adding a further distinctive layer to events held at Central Saint Martins, clients are invited to collaborate with the College’s students and/or alumni on projects relevant to their events. This initiative can incorporate any of the disciplines taught, offering an astounding breadth of talent and an exclusive opportunity to work with the art, design and performance stars of the future.
