We partner with local British suppliers who hold sustainability at the core of their ethos.

Ingredients from Bethnal Green Fish, ChalkStream, & HG Walter form the backbone of our menus.

We are signed up to the Sustainable Fish City Pledge and our suggested seafood menus are as local as geographically possible. Our suppliers work with the Marine Conservation Society, London Food Link, London Fish City, and the Marine Stewardship Council.

We are long-time signatories to the Choose Cage-Free Pledge and use predominantly British meat from animals raised with the highest standards of animal husbandry.

We design menus to get the maximum from our ingredients. Our event sales team and chefs work smartly in advising clients on event quantities to reduce food waste at events, in particular food stations and buffets.

We have developed low waste menus to repurpose ingredients and create bespoke locavore menus (wherever our clients are based).

It makes sense to minimize fuel consumption, so we already have electric vehicles in our fleet and are proud to be able to offer the option of 100% electric transport on our smaller events.

Bubble is part of the Cycle to Work Scheme and we’ve put in showers & a bike store to help.

We lead our product offer with lower carbon, plant-based options, and we find that clients regularly choose 100% meat-free menus for their events.

As well as British wines we champion biodynamics and organics from small growers. We never use plastic straws in our cocktails, we’ve developed a ‘Discarded’ drinks range and our house beer is Toast Ale made from surplus bread.

We have invested in a filtration system to produce Bubble ‘Belu’ Water and also support a non-profit funding WaterAid’s clean water projects.

We partner with Brigade, a charity training both young and old, whose lives have gone off the rails, in starting new careers. We help train and employ Chefs at our events to build experience and confidence.

All Tea and coffee are Fairtrade as are juices & chocolate.

Bubble has provided 1000s of meals for Southwark’s Food Banks and we continue to support them with excess food.

We use environmentally friendly cleaning products and have invested in state-of-the-art Hobart Ecomax dishwashers to minimize warehouse water consumption.

We avoid single use service ware, but if it’s essential it will be 100% biodegradable.

All food prep waste goes to First Mile for composting and in 2022 we won the Silver Award for recycling achievements.

Bubble takes all rubbish off site for sorting, recycling or composting. We also have our own compost using old cut flowers.

We repurpose ingredients, products and props where possible and have developed creative menus using waste ingredients.
