In 2018, we were lucky enough to work with BAFTA on not only one but two incredible events. The BAFTA Nominees Party, held at Kensington Palace in February, involved a canapé reception for nominees such as Gemma Arterton and Margot Robbie, followed by a beautiful sit-down dinner. With Nespresso as the main sponsor, we created a bespoke and inventive menu that incorporated a different Nespresso flavour in each dish.

The BAFTA TV Awards, held at the Southbank Centre in May, involved a canapé reception and three-course dinner for 1,500 guests. In the months prior to the event, Bubble planned and prepared meticulously to ensure a flawless delivery on the night. In addition to a bespoke starter and main course, we collaborated with the sponsor, Hotel Chocolat, to create a ‘St Lucia Chocolate Terrarium’ dessert. Hotel Chocolat is one of few British chocolate makers to grow their own cocoa, which inspired us to base this dessert on their plantation in St Lucia. Awards Event Producer, Lucy Waller, expressed that “guests were wowed by a deliciously creative and innovative feast”.
