House of Illustration

10040No North London

Founded by Sir Quentin Blake and opened in July 2014, the House of Illustration is UK's only public gallery dedicated solely to illustration. Visitors are able to view and learn about illustration in all its forms; from advertisements to animation, picture books to political cartoons and scientific drawings to fashion design.

Located in Granary Square in the heart of the regenerated King’s Cross development, House of Illustration takes pride of place in one of London’s most exciting new areas, benefiting from great transport links. The beautiful nineteenth century brick building makes an ideal setting for any event, from conferences to receptions, with any venue hire profits raising funds for the registered charity. At the heart of its creativity lies a backdrop for creating bespoke magical yet intimate events.
