Founded in 1999 by Michael Collins, Bubble Food embarked on a journey to redefine luxury dining experiences. From the outset, the mission was clear: to create Sustainable Luxury Events that not only dazzle but also conscientiously respect our planet. Jens Nisson leads the kitchen, mixology/sommelier team, with responsibility for the design and delivery of all food and beverage. His career spans over 28 years in the London events industry at the most prestigious venues, and celebrated restaurants around the world. Having trained in London under Michelin starred chefs Marco Pierre White, Phillip Howard and John Christophe Novelli, Jens uses an intelligent approach to cooking and sourcing the very best of natural ingredients. He is passionate about experimenting and developing menus that break boundaries in the events industry, employing cutting edge techniques combined with traditional methods.
The Genesis and Evolution
Bubble Food’s story began with an unforgettable booking for The Lion King Musical premiere, attended by the then, Prince Charles. This event set the stage for Bubble Food’s ascent to becoming London’s premier creative luxury event caterer. Over the years, we’ve catered to high-profile events, including royal gatherings at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Estate and star-studded premieres for icons like Tom Cruise.
As we evolved, our commitment to luxury, style, creativity, passion, and vision remained steadfast. From our first contract with Central St Martins College of Art & Design to catering at over 40 prestigious venues worldwide, our journey reflects a relentless pursuit of excellence.
