Bubble’s recent launch event for Telegraph Media Group (TMG)’s Spark department saw guests, on arrival at B1, completing questionnaires and being equipped with RFID enabled wristbands. Bubble used this data to create bespoke experiences for each guest by pairing personality types with menu selections, as guests ‘touched in’.
The Telegraph wished to create a unique and innovative event experience for each guest that reinforced the new team’s proposition of supercharging creative ideas with industry-leading data insight. “It has been a delight to work with Bubble on this important launch as their ambition to innovate and always better the customer experience perfectly aligns with ours.” Gavin McBride, Head of Trade Marketing and Insight, The Telegraph.
Guests were greeted with sparkling welcome drinks, complete with either green apple, bramble or rhubarb flavoured pearls, depending on the data the guests had provided. Canapés included: Fish and chips (micro fillet of seabass, aerated potatoes, deconstructed tartar); Turmeric glazed mini pear, goat’s cheese, walnut, dill, red beetroot air; and Fillet of beef tartare, raspberry, truffle, mushroom caviar.
The cocktail bar matched guests with cocktails such as Skyfall Martini (Ketel One, Tanquaray, Cocchi Americano, plum wine, lemon, yuzu juice) and Flavour Trip (Plymouth gin, Luxardo maraschino, Crème de Violette, lemon sherbet rim and a miniature envelope containing a Miracle Berry pill which the guests took in order to make the sour flavour taste sweet).
The interactive multi-sensory event continued with bowl food options such as: Aspargus risotto, confit hen’s egg, candied bergamot, and Pie and pint (mini ox cheek pie and pintini of beef broth with creamy potato foam), followed by sweet options such as Boiled egg and soldiers (egg shell bowl containing apricot coulis ravioli in yoghurt pannacotta with candied cinnamon toasts, and Highland cottage (old fashioned tumbler containing smoked chocolate and whiskey truffle mousse with chocolate popping candy, garnished with leather spritz).
“We had so much fun putting this event together,” remarked Bubble MD, Michael Collins, “Bubble’s talented team love the opportunity to get creative and design bespoke experiences for each event we work on. TMG’s launch was a step beyond this and provided us with the chance to tailor the individual experience of each and every guest to make their experience harmonise with their personality traits as closely as possible. It was great working with TMG, who were adventurous in their choice of this innovative style of event.”
